2015 Hidden Desire, Central Coast
2015 Hidden Desire, Central Coast
Deep, dark and a little dirty. The 2015 Hidden Desire is like a dirty little secret - you don't want broadcast in your instagram feed. It is something you crave, something you can't shake. This enchanting blend of Petit Verdot and Malbec isn't like anything you've experienced before. It's heavy on your mind yet gentle on your palate. The two grapes melt perfectly into one another, combining flavors of earth, toffee and blueberries. Due to its rarity, this release should be kept secret and only shared with someone you trust.

A little extra:
I love to make non-traditional blends in a classic style. This one is just that. With a soft, almost rustic quality in its gentle flavors of toffee, chocolate and raspberry, its natural color is more of a brick hue than a deep purple that I’ve encountered with most Argentinian versions. The layers are however explosive and the Petit Verdot used to round out the texture and build a bit of depth give this wine the luxurious quality that it deserves.
