A little extra:
As you know, I only craft a few hundred cases of wine each year and because of this, I pick a few of my favorite grapes each year and rotate as I go. The first year I ever made wine, I made Cabernet (and Syrah). It was a very sad moment when it sold out. Thing is, it sold out just as a new vintage went into barrel. I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this beauty because I am so proud of it. I believe it rivals some of the best Cabernets in the world. The clones i’ve selected bear a beautiful balance and the impeccable work of the growers as well the vineyard site, have lent this wine a bit more of a fruit forward quality than that first vintage. This one is going to be a long-time favorite.
